Please read through the following sections and contact us if you have any queries. When you place and order with us you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions so you can save or print them for your own records.
"Website" refers to the website located at www.Summits.co.uk and any subsequent URLs on this basis;
"Contract" refers to the contract between us and you for the sale and purchase of the Products in accordance with these Terms and Conditions;
"Product or Goods" refers to a product that you are purchasing;
"Order" refers to your order for the Products submitted by you online via the Website;
"We/our/us" refers to the Summits Team;
"You/your" refers to the person who purchases Products from us using the Website.
We at Summits are committed to delivering a useful and engaging website.
2.1 The products and information (including size, colour and specification) displayed within this site are to the best of our knowledge accurate and correct at the time of website upload.
2.2 Summits make every effort to continually update this website and reserve the right to amend specifications of products featured on this website without prior notice.
2.3 Colours may vary in store from those portrayed on screen as we cannot guarantee the device in use has an accurate resolution or display.
2.4 If a product is sold with errors regarding the goods price, description or quantity we reserve the right to amend any details and notify you immediately. If this situation arises and we are unable to continue we will deem that the contract has not been entered and will fully refund your order.
So you want to place an order with us, GREAT! There are just a few things we want to clear up first;
3.1 The goods we display on the website are there to advertise and give you information about that product. These products are there for you to purchase once you have decided that is what you are wanting. The contract between you (the customer) and us (the Summits Team) is only bound at the time of dispatch. Submitting the order and receiving the order confirmation email is only the first stage as we will need to review the order and at this point it does not constitute legal acceptance.
3.2 If there are any errors or anything suspicious about an order we reserve the right to refuse to supply Goods to any customer. The payment will be fully refunded to the original payment source and you will be contacted to explain the situation.
3.3 The conditions of use are beyond our control; therefore, we do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage.
3.4 Not all of our products are available in every country, if there are any queries about this please contact us to confirm.
We strive to be as competitive as we can, but here are the Terms and Conditions that you might need to know!
4.1 We are VAT Registered (VAT number 998 1883 41) and the price of the product is inclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the current rate of the UK VAT charge.
4.2 Our website accepts payment from most major credit cards as well as PayPal. We cannot accept any other forms of payment online.
4.3 All card payments will be processed by our payment gateway that will carry out the relevant security checks. This is to prevent fraud, so when purchasing from us you are granting our third party payment gateway to validate names, addresses and other information supplied. If you fail any of these your order may be cancelled or put on hold while we investigate the issue depending on the situation. Due to this we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of your order.
4.4 Our price is shown clearly at the time of placing your order, both the price for the product and price for delivery will be shown separately. This will be shown no matter how many products are being purchased.
4.5 Offers and Promotions on our website may end or change without notice. Nothing shall oblige us to maintain offers of promotions for any period of time. Addition terms may apply to promotions but these will be displayed at the time.
4.6 Any refunds will only be processed to the original payment source and no exceptions will be made around this.
These things happen, wither it’s due to a fault or just because it doesn’t suit you. We will help you out but here are some points you should really know.
If You Change Your Mind
5.1 We try to be as flexible as possible, so we give you up to 30 days after you have received your order to request a return for cancellation.
5.2 To find the best way to cancel and return products please see our returns page on our website and follow the steps. Missing steps out or not returning the correct items and forms can cause a delay in dealing with your return.
5.3 When you return the product we will only fully refund your order once it arrives back with us in its original condition with all the relevant labels and tags that were sent with it. Any missing items or sign of use will put a hold to the refund until resolved. We reserve the right to refuse a return if the item has been used and has no manufacturing fault.
5.5 You must return the goods to us (at your own risk and cost) within 14 days of your return being accepted. You are liable for the delivery of this item (Courier or recorded delivery is the safer option) to the address of:

5.6 You can also return this in person to our store, although the refund will still only be processed via the original payment method.
If Something Goes Wrong
5.7 All Warranties are implemented by the manufacturer, check this before using your product in case certain items are not covered and need to be taken care of.
5.8 We may ask for photos of the issue to help speed up the process. These pictures will only ever be used by us and the manufacturer to try and deal with your issue as quickly as possible.
5.9 If you deem that the product is faulty due to a manufacturing, we ask you to make sure the product is clean and dry before returning it. If the product is not in a reasonable state when it arrives with us then we will either return it straight to you, or try deal with it here which will slow down your return.
5.10 If you are returning the item because of a manufacturing issue, we reserve the rights to get the item back for the manufacture to inspect. We will do all we can to have your return dealt with quickly but we do not take any responsibility for the delay that might take place while this is inspected.
5.11 If we deem the item to be a manufacturing flaw, we will try and replace or refund you for the product. This will depend on our stock levels.
6.1 If we fail to comply with these Terms and Conditions, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us failing to comply, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if either it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time the contract was made, both we and you knew it might happen.
6.2 We do not sell any products for commercial, business or re-sale purposes and have no liability for any consequences that has if you choose to undertake any of these actions.
6.3 We sell a variety of equipment which may or may not be suitable for the activity you are using it for. We accept no liability if you use the product for a use it is not intended for. Please make sure you check all safety notices and directions for use before using the product.
6.4 The views expressed on this website are not necessarily the views of Summits, the company, its directors, officers, or employees. Summits make no representation, or accept any liability for the accuracy or completeness of the content on this website unless expressly stated to the contrary.

8.3 The Terms and Conditions may be updated at any point, once this update has been implemented on our website all sales from then will be bound to the new terms. Any orders completed before this will still be subject to the previous Terms and Conditions.
