Ordering & Returns
Summits is a retail store dealing with reputable, quality brands who have excellent after-sales and customer service. However, before you use a product purchased from ourselves we would like to cover some key details and warranty issues:
Clothing and Footwear:
To begin with, all the clothing and footwear is covered by each individual company's warranty. We would advise clicking on the Brand Name that you have bought (or are thinking of buying) for comprehensive details: The North Face, Rab, Mountain Equipment, Sprayway, Berghaus, Keen, Asolo and Animal.
Camping equipment warranties are even more comprehensive depending on the item purchased. Vango, for example, offer up to a 3-year warranty with most of their products. Please make sure you understand each manufacturers warranty (Some items require registration with the company) Please check the following links: Vango, Wild Country, Force Ten, Terra Nova, Vaude.
NOTE - Most companies do not cover tent poles under their warranty, stating:
As a guide, the following damage is not covered under warranty: TENTS Any tent pole breakages, these are treated as fair wear and tear, Collateral damage from a pole breakage.
The reason for this important exclusion is that most breakages are caused by customer error. Poles are easily damaged when sections are not fully located together. Please thoroughly check that when you are erecting your tent to make sure each pole section is fully located and there is no sign of any damage before being used.
Summits understand that occasionally a manufacturing fault could be to blame. Please contact us if you have any issues as we are here to help.

Problem with your order or just looking to return it?
Either way, we are here to help make this as simple and as effortless as possible.
Our Returns Policy - as long as an item is unused and still in its original condition then you can return it within 30 days for a full refund. Note, that if there is no fault with the item then you will need to pay for return postage.
Follow these steps for returning an item:
- If you are simply looking to return the item for a refund or an exchange, please skip to step 3.
- If there is a problem with your order please contact us via, Email (Sales@Summits.co.uk) or phone (0141 889 3360) to discuss the issue and allow us to deal with it as efficiently as possible.
- If you have a returns form, simply fill it out or you can download one here - Summits Returns Form
- Send it back to us (unless otherwise discussed from step 2) at Summits Returns, 36 Moss Street, Paisley, PA1 1BA. Please pack the product as best as possible and send it off with the completed form inside.
We will try our best to have this turned around as soon as possible but, depending on your reason for returning, this may take longer.
