Just to start it’s a great tent
Pros:
Easy as pie to set up. It says 7 minutes to set up, but you can do it quicker than that
Lightweight and I mean light! I used to backpack with a 3.5kg tent so going to a 1.4kg tent is great
Storm bracing. I’ve tested these internal braces in 35mph winds and they work well so far. Adds a nice but if stiffness
I’m 6’1 and I can sit up in the middle of the tent so that’s pretty nice. The length is also well welcomed.
There was a spot where I could add a drying line
The vestibule area is adjustable. So if the weather is really bad, you can cook inside the tent. I crack the zip a bit for venting
It’s a pretty warm tent. If it’s warm and clear weather, I like to leave the doors open. Rather great views
Packs very very small. Almost surprising really how small.
A few times I’ve actually detach the inner tent when I’ve wanted just a shell with the footprint (not included) or the inner then was really really wet (not letting rain though). I had spent a day and a half inside
Lots of tension adjustments. So with it being a nylon tent, the flysheet material slightly expands. If you want, you can tension it
The zips are nice and smooth with the addition of a YKK clip art the bottom incase of strong winds
The seems are tapped which is nice to see
Cons:
Inter tent groundsheet- so the groundsheet is rather “delicate” and when kneeling on the sheet, it lets moisture through. I would also be rather apprehensive about any stones on the ground. BUT there is a solution for this. You can buy the footprint that is designed to go with this tent. It’s only an extra 120g but is rather robust and solves this issue. Also the vestibule area has a waterproof layer.
Condensation can be a bit of a problem with the tent. If the weather permits, I leave the top zip of the for open which helps. Also the footprint helps reduce this, stopping moisture from the ground.
Pole sleeve can be a bit grippy when wet but it’s okay
Overall:
So over all in rather happy with it
