The Keen Men’s NXIS EVO Waterproof Boot (Magnet/Bright cobalt) is fast and light Nxis Evo Shoes are ready for any adventure, from hiking to fast packing, hill walking to waterfall hunting. With an ultra-comfy trail running shoe design, they offer all-terrain grip and waterproof protection.
The Nxis Evo Shoe’s upper is made from a high-performance engineered knit that is reinforced with TPU overlays in key areas for a balance of breathability, durability and lasting comfort.
For waterproof protection, they use Keen’s proprietary Keen.Dry membrane, which offers lasting breathability for long trails and warm hiking adventures. The shoes are finished with a PFAS-Free DWR (durable water repellent) for added water resistance whilst being free from harmful forever chemicals that cause damage to our planet.
For traction, the shoes use Keen’s All-Terrain sole, created from durable, super grippy rubber with multi-directional lugs. This is Keen’s highest-traction rubber for performance across varied terrain.
These fast and light hiking shoes use a speed-lace system and Keen’s KonnectFit heel capture for a quick, secure, locked-in fit to provide excellent support.
The Nxis Evo Shoes feature Keen’s iconic wide toe box and rubber toe protection, allowing your feet to naturally splay out as you walk, providing a more natural range of movement for your feet than traditional tapered walking shoes. This toe protection has a strategically placed split for increased flexibility and freedom of movement when moving across challenging terrain.
A padded tongue, collar and removable PU insoles provide out-of-the-box comfort, whilst the compression moulded EVA midsole cushions each step, reducing fatigue on long trails and multi-day adventures.
The all-terrain sole uses a combination of 4mm multi-directional horse-shoe-shaped lugs for traction when hiking up and down hills and mountains in various terrain, whilst a distinct heel crash pad and toe-off zone offer traction in a wide range of environments.
The Nxis Evo Shoes are finished with Keen’s Eco Anti-Odour Control to keep your boots smelling box fresh and pleasant for longer, without the use of harmful pesticides. This eco-conscious technology uses naturally occurring probiotics and electrostatically connects them to the shoe linings to prevent bacteria from developing, which leads to unwanted odours.
